Pokémon TCG: The Crown Zenith Update

Pokémon TCG: The Crown Zenith Update

English Crown Zenith Expansion Revealed!

As we get closer to the release of Crown Zenith (January 20th) we will uncover more details about the cards and products that are being released. A few months ago, we looked at some of the Japanese equivalents to American products. Now, we are getting a look at the full size tins and Special Collections, as well as some other products that will slowly become available throughout early 2023.

Crown Zenith fails to disappoint even with its promo cards. The art is unlike anything we've seen before. Articuno conjures a blizzard through a forest at dusk, Zapdos runs wild with the Dodrio, and Moltres reigns supreme over the mountaintops.

Each legendary bird has appeared more than a few times in the Sword and Shield era. They were Golden Secret Rares in Brilliant Stars, they were Trainer Gallery fan favorites in Astral Radiance, and they stunned us with Alternate Arts in Chilling Reign. Now, they appear one more time as full art promo cards for the Crown Zenith tins.

This expansion will come with a new group of V boxes and Premium Collections. Regieleki and Regidrago are featured on V boxes. Those come with 4 packs and 3 promo cards. There is also a Special Collection featuring Pikachu V and VMAX that adds to our list of recent Pikachu promos. It will also come with 5 packs and a Jumbo Pikachu card. It sells for $30.00. One of the more exciting products is the Morpeko V-UNION Playmat Collection. The product comes with a new Morpeko V-UNION card and a matching jumbo. as well as 5 packs and a playmat that matches the artwork. This product sells for $40.00.
